As outlined in greater detail in our FedRAMP blog post, the Sumo Logic Continuous Intelligence Platform™ was granted authority to operate at a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Moderate impact level in February of 2021. With this authorization, many more organizations can now use Sumo Logic to get real-time insights into complex on-premises and cloud environments, and further strengthen their security and compliance, while optimizing their operational performance.

Sumo Logic offers a distinct public cloud offering built out to and operated in accordance with NIST 800-53 FedRAMP-Moderate framework. This framework is not new to Sumo Logic, as we remained in adherence to the framework throughout this journey and are committed to maintaining the Authorization.

Sumo Logic allows for a diverse array of cloud and on-premises data to be ingested into our platform for Cloud Security Monitoring and Analytics use cases as well as observability teams looking to drive DevOps improvements -- from external customer-facing application data, to internal IT applications, to cloud infrastructure data, and a variety of on-premises data sources.

Sumo Logic has several customers on our FedRAMP instance that are actively ingesting and analyzing GCC High logs today. These analytical features are supported by our multi-cloud and on-premises capabilities combined with the ability to ingest structured, unstructured and semi-structured data from anywhere at scale. In turn, this data can be explicitly named in a query or dashboard panel in line with use cases for both our Observability and Security solutions.
